Your Right to Delete Your Data

At BytePixelLabs, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time. This page explains what data we collect, how to request deletion, and what happens when you delete your data.

⚠️ Important: Deleting your data is permanent and cannot be undone. All your game progress, achievements, and purchases will be lost.

What Data We Collect

When you use our games, we may collect the following data:

  • Game Progress: Your scores, achievements, levels completed, and game saves
  • Account Information: Username, email address (if provided), and Google Play Games ID
  • Device Information: Device model, operating system, and unique device identifiers
  • Purchase History: Records of in-app purchases and virtual currency transactions
  • Usage Analytics: Game performance data, crash reports, and gameplay statistics
  • Advertising Data: Advertising identifiers for personalized ads

How to Delete Your Data

You have several options to delete your data:

Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

  1. Open the game on your device
  2. Go to Settings menu
  3. Select Account Settings
  4. Tap on Delete Account & Data
  5. Confirm your decision

Option 2: Email Request

If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email, please contact us with the following information:

  • Your Google Play Games ID or email address associated with your account
  • Your username in the game (if applicable)
  • Confirmation that you want to permanently delete all your data

Option 3: Uninstall the App

If you simply uninstall the app without requesting data deletion:

  • Your local data will be removed from your device
  • Your cloud save data (Google Play Games) will remain for 90 days
  • To permanently delete all data, you must request deletion via Options 1 or 2

What Happens When You Delete Your Data

When you request data deletion, the following will occur:

Immediate Effects

  • Your account will be deactivated immediately
  • You will no longer be able to access your game progress
  • All your achievements and leaderboard entries will be removed
  • Your profile will be deleted from our servers

Within 30 Days

  • All your personal data will be permanently deleted from our active databases
  • Backup copies will be scheduled for deletion
  • You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete

What We Keep (If Required by Law)

In some cases, we may be required to retain certain data for legal or regulatory purposes:

  • Purchase Records: Transaction records may be kept for tax and accounting purposes (usually 7 years)
  • Legal Compliance: Data related to legal disputes or investigations
  • Fraud Prevention: Anonymized data to prevent fraud and abuse

⚠️ Please Note: We cannot delete data from third-party services (Google Play, advertising networks). You must contact them directly to request deletion of data they have collected.

Data Deletion Timeline

Our data deletion process follows this timeline:

  • Day 0: Request received and account deactivated
  • Day 1-7: Data removal from active systems begins
  • Day 8-30: Complete deletion from all databases and backups
  • Day 30: Confirmation email sent to you

Third-Party Data Deletion

Our game uses third-party services that may also collect data. To delete data from these services:

Google Play Games

  • Visit Google Play Settings
  • Go to "Delete Play Games profile & data"
  • Follow the instructions to delete your Google Play Games data

Google Advertising (AdMob)

  • Visit Google Ads Settings
  • Opt out of personalized advertising
  • Reset your advertising ID in your device settings

Alternatives to Data Deletion

If you're not ready to permanently delete your data, you have other options:

  • Pause Data Collection: Disable analytics in game settings
  • Opt-Out of Ads: Purchase ad-free version
  • Temporary Break: Simply stop using the app (data will be retained)
  • Data Download: Request a copy of your data before deletion

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I recover my data after deletion?

No. Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please consider downloading a copy of your data before requesting deletion.

Will I get a refund for my purchases?

Data deletion does not automatically trigger refunds. For refund requests, please refer to Google Play's refund policy or contact Google Play support.

Can I create a new account after deletion?

Yes. You can create a new account at any time, but you will start from the beginning with no previous progress or purchases.

How long does the deletion process take?

The entire process takes up to 30 days. However, your account will be deactivated immediately upon request.

What if I change my mind?
